Impact on communities
The COVID19 curfew has taken a toll on many
but it has completely stripped the daily wage workers
of their livelihood and left them helpless beyond expectation.
They are unable to feed themselves and their families
all whilst struggling to meet hygiene standards,
some that they are not even aware of.
We at Enactus IIT Delhi have had a history of close collaboration
with communities across Delhi and are determined to provide
relief in Azadpur, Kapashera, Okhla, Slums in Dwarka and more.
We urge you to rise to the occasion and help us extend a hand,
so as we stay safe ourselves we can help keep others safe too.
What is COVID19
Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.
Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience
mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring
special treatment .
Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like
cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease,
and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.
The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well
informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how
it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your
hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face
Who are we
and why are we doing this.
We are a group of dedicated volunteers from IIT Delhi
who are curating the news coming from state bulletins, press releases and news houses.
Help us donate health kits to the needy.
We extract the details, to keep you well informed about the current scenario and guidelines/aids
that are being provided by the government .
We do what we do because it affects all of us. Today it's someone else who is getting infected.
Tomorrow it might be us. We need to prevent the spread. We need to document the data so that
people with knowledge are able to use this data to make informed decisions.
